About me
I am a motivated, creative and eager to learn Year 12 Student at St Ives High School. Following the completion of my HSC in 2024, I aspire to complete a Bachelor of Design with a view to work in Graphic Design.
Whilst completing my studies, I have been continuously developing and expanding my graphic design and 3D animation skills. I have over four years of graphic design experience through running my own social media branding and design freelance business. I also completed a Certificate III in Design and Fundamentals at TAFE NSW in 2023.
I am passionate about graphic design and 3D animation because of the freedom it gives me to create unique works brought to life by my own imagination. It tests my creativity, critical thinking and problem solving skills in a way that is both challenging and rewarding.
My Work
HSC Visual Arts - Major Work
This is one of the 4 modelled components of my HSC Visual Arts Major Work. I used Blender 3D to create models from photos I took of Luna Park. The theme was to create a feeling of decay representing the move of society from the physical world of entertainment to the digital world of social media. I paid particular attention to the detail in each model including surface finishes, items like graffiti, lighting and viewing angles to be able to create final rendered print images. I wanted to also include 3D printed models in the final submission.
HSC Multimedia - Major Work
3D animation is a very exciting area of design for me. I have been developing skills in Blender 3D and learning how to create 3D animations, the basics of 3D modeling and composing still images. This is the final result of my HSC Multimedia major work. In this, I wanted to explore the idea of blending reality with imagination. The car is intended to represent reality in which it is inserted into an imaginary world made up of Lego and Hot Wheels. I also used my branding and logo design skills to develop the introductory logos and title.
Poster Exploration - Valorant | Neon
This poster design is an example of an area of design that I am very interested in. The goal was to test my knowledge of contrast, composition and texture. I went for a modern, minimalistic colour palette with an accent of gold to bring out key details in the character. I used logos and icons from the game to create texture, detail and interest throughout the composition.
Logo Design & Branding
Branding and Logo Design is an area that I love working with. This example is from a commission that I had for an E-sports team. The brief stated that they wanted a minimal, sharp, symmetrical logo which portrays the word “soar”. The arrow representation was designed into the logo to meet this concept. The client was very happy with the outcome of this work and has commissioned me for further work for them.
Social Media Twitter (X) Profile Header
This image is an example of one of my designs for social media banners for X (Twitter), YouTube and other platforms. In this example, I wanted to create a collage with a vintage-style atmosphere which is emphasised using paper cutouts and hand-drawn designs. Designing these images gives me the flexibility to experiment with my creativity. Over the years, I have developed a unique style that adds a level of creativity, making the banners stand out from the rest.
Esports Merchandise
As part of my interest in branding, I have also done some work with merchandising. This is an example of a commission by an Esports Team by the name of Team Neptic. They wanted a unique, stylistic and textured set of clothing including a Tee and a Hoodie. I designed all the branding and created mockups of a clothing line for their website. This process was very satisfying as I was able to see how my ideas come to life when they are showcased on clothing items.
